Some of my favorite software for home.  You can always find free trials at downloads.com  but really understand what it is and what you want for you computer.  I will list some of the products here that I use and recommend, but like I said only download and install what you want and need.

Defrag: From the makers of Advanced Windows Care a free nice defrag utility.  Download Here

Lightscribe: Visit the lightscribe site for some nice templates and make sure you have the latest system software.  The windows version can be found here.

DVD Backup:  I started to get really tired of DVD's skipping after many uses so I decided that I wanted to backup the ones that I really cared about in my collection.  1click DVD Copy  This is by far the best program I have used, I have had a 95% plus success rate with this software. You will need a decrypter for this software. DVD43 works great and can be found here.  Download

FTP: Free ftp program core lite ftp  Download here now or look at downloads.com for another.  easy to use free and limited.

 UltraISO: This little gem will create, extract, and read almost any  ISO format. Microsoft

Expression Web : Lets face it  Microsoft Front Page for the most part sucked.  It was a very simple web site creation tool.  Now we have Expression Web, and well I just love it.  this site was created with Expression Web.  For $99.00 (upgrade from any Front Page product you can't go wrong).
